与常规Santoprene®TPV相比，使用至少15%的消费后回收（PCR）材料制成的Santoprene#xAE；TPV ECO-R等级可以改善生命周期影响，同时为许多应用提供性能和成本效益的 平衡，包括汽车零件，如防风雨密封件。与EPDM相比，Santoprene®TPV能够减轻零件重量，从而在零件的使用寿命内实现燃油经济性效益。
此外，Santoprene®TPV热塑性材料生产废料可以进行返工，减少与生产相关的废物，与EPDM替代品相比，使零件的碳足迹预计降低50%。Santoprene®TPV还可以回收到许多聚丙烯废物流中，作为回收商的增值材料。
